New Beginnings
New beginnings are a part of life. From child births to starting new schools to getting a new job. At GracePoint, we have experienced many new beginnings in our short time of existence. And at each stage, we are encouraged that God is leading us.
Some people don't like new beginnings because some people don't like change. It's natural that we are uncomfortable with change. But I think that our whole lives are about new beginnings.
First, with our relationship with God. Through Christ, we have a new beginning in our lives that is now drenched in the gospel and in the security of a Savior.
Even with our relationships with others, God gives us new beginnings by being able to love and care for our friends with a fresh new passion everyday.
Next Sunday, 3/21, GracePoint will be experiencing yet another new beginning, moving to an off site location for church. This beginning, as with many others, comes with worry, fear, and sometimes doubt. Are we doing the right thing? Going to the right place?
God has given us the confidence to take risks and to out on a limb for the Gospel. Maybe you are going through a new beginning right now as well? I'm sure along with the excitement, there is fear and worry. I hope you'll be able to enjoy each day God has given you and see how every day is a new start of your life in Christ.
